杜博林公司是魯克.杜博樂和迪克.林于1945年成立的．公司名稱由他們兩人的名字共同組成．
杜博林公司不是原設計旋轉器的公司，他是*進入市場以平衡式機械密封設計于其產品上．在這期間，zui流行的機械密封產品是壓縮型密封器，他是依靠兩個壓縮的密封面保持密封．
隨著各種設備速度的提高，壓縮式密封的設計有明顯的磨損。魯克以*機械密封安裝在旋接器內。這個設計馬上被市場接受，杜博林公司開始擴大．zui早使用魯克設計的旋接器，除了印刷行產業還有：

公司組成幾年后，迪克林決定進行一個*不同的商業線路．并且把他手里的部分股份賣給魯克，使魯克成為公司*的所有者．
杜博林．像所有經歷過第二次世界大戰后的制造工廠一樣，在50,60年代穩定成長.使魯克區別于同一時代大多企業家不同的一點是他的預見思路和溝通力。這些素質使得杜博林從60年代后期，從他的競爭者及美國制造業中脫穎而出。之后魯克決定到海外拓展市場。令人難以置信的是他在60年代后期選擇去日本訪問。
